Library Book Policies

Students can check out up to 5 books at a time.

  • Books are checked out for 20 school days.
  • While due dates are given, Rio Norte does not charge late fees.
  • Lost or damaged books will be charged a replacement cost.
  • A student ID is required for checkout.
  • Students without an ID can place a book on hold and come back later.
  • It is strongly advised that students do not check out books for friends.
  • Books placed on hold go back out on the shelf if not picked up within 5 days.
