Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Excludes holidays and school breaks.

Contact Information:

  • Phone: (661) 295-3700, ext. 1109

  • Email Attendance Office: [email protected] (preferred method to ensure your email is sent is to use the Email Attendance Form, click the button to the right)

Please Note: Due to high volume, requests are processed in the order they are received and may take 1-2 business days. We appreciate your patience.

Check Your Student's Record

The best way to check your student's attendance, grades, and schedule is through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. We encourage you to turn on attendance notifications to receive real-time updates.

Absences

Please report your student's absence on the day it occurs.

How to Report an Absence:

You can report an absence in one of four ways:

  1. Email the Attendance Office (preferred).

  2. Send a signed note with your student when they return.

  3. Leave a voicemail at extension 1109.

  4. Send a message through ParentSquare.

Please Note: If you have already cleared an absence, please disregard any automated notifications you may receive.

Attendance Policy:

  • Correcting an Error: If you believe an absence has been marked in error, please email the teacher directly. The teacher will then contact our office to make the correction.

  • Excessive Absences: After 14 excused absences, a doctor's note may be required for any future absences due to illness. Students with habitual attendance issues may be referred to the School Attendance Review Board (SARB).

  • Truancy: A student who leaves campus without permission will be marked truant. Missed classwork or tests due to truancy cannot be made up.

Late Arrival

Our policy encourages students to be on time and ready to learn. A student is marked tardy if they are not in their classroom when the final bell rings.

  • 5 Tardies: 2 lunch detentions

  • 10 Tardies: 4 hours of after-school detention

Early Release

If you need to pick up your student early, please notify the attendance office in advance whenever possible. A photo ID is required to sign out a student.

How to Request an Early Release:

Requests must be submitted at least 2 hours in advance by:

  • Emailing the attendance office with "STUDENT PICK UP" in the subject line.

  • Sending a signed note with your student to the office.

  • Filling out a Student Early Release Request form.

Your request must include the student’s name, the date and time of release, the reason, and your name. If someone other than a legal guardian is picking up the student, you must authorize them by name in your request.

Independent Study

If your student will be absent for three or more consecutive school days, we recommend arranging for Independent Study. This allows them to stay current with their assignments.
