On Friday, March 25th, we will be conducting our second school wide lockdown drill for the year. An intruder on campus, news of a potential threat to the school, hazardous material on or near campus, or a fugitive on the run in the nearby area are all examples of events that may necessitate the need for a campus lockdown. In November, we conducted a lockdown drill while students were in class. This upcoming drill will take place during brunch. The goal for this drill is to practice moving students to a secure indoor location in a safe and timely manner. Keeping your child safe is our top priority, and practicing emergency drills is an important part of maintaining a safe campus.
